考研小作文即应用文写作，是2005年大纲修订之后出现的新题型，主要考察考生 在特定日常情境下英语语言的实际运用能力。

　　与大作文相比，小作文的写作相对 比较简单，但是要在十五分钟内完成一篇百词左右的精彩短文，也是需要考生在 平日的备考下一番功夫的。

　　恰当地根据给定情境迅速成文、具备一定语言能力。因此在平时的备考中， 考生一定要全面了解和掌握各种常见应用文体如私人和公务信函、备忘录、摘要 、报告等，信函一般包括投诉信、道歉信、邀请信、感谢信、求职信、推荐信、 建议信等，各类文体的写作格式、方法和特点需要分类记忆，尤其是各类问题的 常用句型和基本结构一定要烂熟于心。

　　1、投诉信

　　小作文字体要工整、整洁，这样才能给改卷老师留下良好的第一印象。
