  六级汉译英讲义

  一、汉译英应试原则和基本程序

  (一)汉译英应试原则

  手法灵活(如遇难译之处,换用其它相近说法表达)

  语法正确(避免时态、语态、单复数等语法错误)

  内容忠实(必须把原文的内容准确而完整地表达出来,不得有任何歪曲、遗漏或增删)

  语言闪光(译文符合英语表达习惯,且用词准确、多样)

  (二)汉译英基本程序

  1.理解 通读并透彻理解原文含义

  2.翻译 确定译文句子的时态、句型、结构和用词

  3.审校 首先检查译文是否正确地转述了原文内容,是否有错译和漏译;其次,检查是否有语言上的明显错误,如时态、语态、单复数、拼写、大小写、标点符号等。发现错误,及时改正。

  二、汉译英专项练习

  一、倍数增减的表示法

  五、虚拟语气

  八、动名词

  (下列动词后的宾语只能是动名词而不能是不定式:admit, advise, allow, anticipate, appreciate, avoid, delay, deny, dislike, dread, encourage, enjoy, escape, excuse, fancy, finish, can’t help, imagine, keep, mind, miss, permit, postpone, practice, prevent, propose, recall, recollect, resent, resist, risk, can’t stand, stop, suggest)

  3) getting our goods into the international market

  九、非谓语动词用法区别

  1) working very hard.

  (考点:mean表示“意味着”)

  (类似需要区别的动词还有forget, remember, regret, go on, stop等)

  3) talking to his mother

  (考点:强调正在进行)

  4) talk to his mother for an hour

  (考点:强调整个过程)

  (考点:意料之中的结果)

  (考点:不定式作原因状语位于句末)

  一、总 则

  随着我国改革开放的深入和综合国力的增强,我部对外交流和合作日益频繁,对我部干部涉外工作能力提出了越来越高的要求。因此,我部在每年录用公务员时均增加了英语笔试环节。

  考虑到我国现行本科、研究生英语教育体系的实际情况,本考试在一定程度上借鉴大学英语四级、六级的考试要求和命题方法,在四、六级的基础上,更加注重对英语笔语综合能力的考察。

  英语笔试成绩占综合成绩的15%。

  本考试在公务员录用面试之前由财政部人事教育司组织实施。

  本考试为闭卷考试,考生在考试过程中不得查阅任何参考资料。

  二、考试总框架与时间

  本考试包括六个部分:

结构、综合改错、综合填空、阅读理解、英汉互译、命题作文。

  本考试命题遵循主观题与客观题相结合的原则,主观题大约占40%,客观题大约占60%。两种题型结合,目的是全面考察考生的综合笔语能力。

  考卷满分为120分。

  考试时间180分钟,由考生自行掌握各部分的时间。

  三、各部分内容介绍与计分办法

  第一部分:词语用法和语法结构(Part I: Vocabulary and Grammar)

  共20题,每题1分,计20分。

  本部分给出20个句子,每个句子中有一空白。要求考生从每题四个选择项中选出一个最合适的答案填入空白处,使句子完整,意义明确,合乎逻辑。20题中,涉及词和短语用法的约占60%,涉及语法结构的约占40%。

  词语用法和语法结构部分的目的是测试考生运用词汇、短语及语法结构的能力。考试范围以大学英语一级至六级内容为主。

  第二部分:综合改错(Part II :Correcting Mistakes)

  共10题,每题1分,计10分。

  本部分给出10个英语句子,每个句子中含有一个错误,每个错误涉及1个单词,可能需要改正、 增添或删去该词。错误类型有语法、搭配、用词、拼写等。要求考生找出错误并改正,使句子的意思完整、明确。

  综合改错部分的目的是测试考生综合运用语言的能力。考试范围以大学英语一级至六级内容为主。

  第三部分:综合填空(Part III:Cloze)

  共10题,每题1分,计10分。

  本部分给出一篇150 – 200单词的短文,其中有10个空白,每个空白提供四个选项,要求考生从四个选项中选择最合适的一个填入空白处,使短文完整顺畅。

  综合填空部分的目的是测试考生根据上下文猜测、推测、判断意义的能力。考试范围以大学英语一级至六级内容为主。

  第四部分:阅读理解(Part IV:Reading Comprehension)

  共15题,每题2分,计30分。

  本部分给出三篇300单词左右的短文,合计阅读量共约1000单词。每篇短文后给出五个题目,要求考生在认真阅读相关短文后,根据短文内容从每个

项中选出最合适的一项。

  选材原则:

  1、题材多样,可以涉及人物、社会、文化、经济等方面,略侧重经济、财经内容,但是所涉及的背景知识应能为学生所理解;

  2、体裁多样,可以包括叙述文、说明文、议论文等;

  3、文章的语言难度基本不超出大学英语六级的水平,如某些关键的词汇超出六级范围,用汉语注明词义。

  阅读理解部分主要测试下述能力:

  1.既能理解个别句子的意义,也能理解上下文的逻辑关系;

  2.既理解字面的意思;也能理解隐含的意思;

  3.既理解事实和细节,也能理解所读材料的主旨和大意;

  4.能就文章的内容进行判断、推理和信息转换。

  阅读理解部分的目的是测试学生通过阅读获取信息的能力,既要求准确,也要求有一定速度。

  第五部分:翻译(Part V:Translation)

  共2题,每题15分,计30分。

  本部分第一题为英译汉,要求将大约150个英语单词的短文翻译成汉语。第二题为汉译英,要求将150 – 200个汉字的短文翻译成英语。

  选材原则:

  基本上从近期报纸、杂志、网络上选取与中外经济、财经问题有关的文章,文章内容力求清楚,文字难度一般,不涉及高深的专业知识和专业词汇。

  翻译部分主要测试考生的综合翻译能力,考察考生能否用流畅、易懂的汉语或英语准确地传达英语、汉语原文的意思。

  第六部分:写作(Part VI:Writing)

  共1题,计20分。

  本部分以背景引导加题目的方式,要求考生根据题目所提供的背景和题目,写出不超过200单词的英语作文。

  题目所提供的背景和题目本身与近期中外经济、财经问题有关,要求考生撰写议论文。文章应该论点明确,支持有力,结论清晰。

  写作部分主要测试考生用英语分析问题和解决问题的能力,检验考生是否了解英语在说理、论述过程中有别于汉语的特点。

  四、答题要求

  考试时将同时下发答题纸(Answer Sheet),所有答案均应书写在答题纸上,写在试题本上的答案无效。

  五、其他

  大纲中的未竟事宜由财政部人事教育司负责解释。
